We can help you in cases of abuse. These include, for example:
- Clearly illegal content such as extremist, pornographic or commercially erotic content that can be accessed under domains registered with us
- Spam, phishing or mailware emails sent via mail servers from domains registered with us
- Disputes e.g. due to naming rights that concern domain names of domains registered with us
To ensure that your abuse report is processed quickly, please note the following points:
- Anyone can submit abuse reports regarding domains registered with us.
We generally only accept abuse reports via email or the Abuse Center. You can report your case of abuse directly to abouse(a)connectronx.com or via the Abuse Report Form. - Please describe your case as precisely as possible.
Describe the problem in a few sentences. Include (if possible and where applicable) timestamps, log files and email headers. Please send emails as TEXT email and not as HTML email (no DOC, PDF or image). - We will definitely process your report.
However, that does not mean that we can act immediately if you receive an abuse report. We are not only subject to the guidelines of ICANN and respective registries, but also to European and German legislation, as well as contracts with our customers. In particular, we cannot change customer website content or delete domains or websites due to an abuse report. Domains or websites can only be blocked if there are clear violations of the law that can be recognized even by laypeople. We must first contact the domain owner and, if necessary, give them the chance to fix the problem. We ask you to refrain from making any questions. This does not affect the processing time. We will inform you of the measures we take, even if we do not take any action, in which case we will also provide reasons for the decision.
- We are not allowed to release customer data, log files or account data, nor, for example, to judge alleged copyright infringements.
It is therefore always important to consider whether an advertisement or contacting the domain owner will lead to success more quickly. This applies in particular to, for example, copyright infringements or similar cases involving intellectual property.
